Discover the perfect yoga practice tailored to your needs. At Ignis Yoga, each session is thoughtfully designed to help you achieve physical and mental well-being, regardless of your experience level. Explore our offerings:
Wear something comfortable that allows for free movement, especially during breathing exercises. Avoid tight clothing that presses on your abdomen or chest. Cotton leggings or sweatpants are great options. Focus on comfort, especially for meditation and Yoga Nidra. Practice is done barefoot or without socks to stimulate pressure points on your feet. It’s best to remove jewelry like rings or earrings for safety and to avoid discomfort during poses or reflexology exercises.
To start, a yoga mat is sufficient. Over time, props like a meditation cushion, bolster, blanket, or blocks can help adjust poses to your flexibility and strength. Your teacher will guide you on the best tools to enhance your practice.
Avoid eating before class for the best experience. Ideally, wait at least 1 hour after a light vegan meal or 2 hours after a larger meal. Morning sessions are best practiced on an empty stomach. A full stomach can hinder detoxification and may cause discomfort during certain asanas and breathing exercises.
Yoga sessions start with breathwork and a short meditation to help you focus. Your teacher will guide you through asanas (poses) and adjust them based on your strength, flexibility, and overall health. You don’t need props to begin, and the goal is to observe your body and mind, fostering healing and awareness.
Not at all! Yoga helps improve flexibility over time. Every pose can be adjusted to match your current strength and flexibility. Using props, you’ll still gain the full benefits of each posture, even if you’re starting with modified poses.
Your class choice depends on your goals, health, and preferences:
To maximize benefits, consider alternating classes, such as Hatha Yoga on one day and Gentle Yoga or Pranayama on another. Unsure? I can help create your personalized weekly yoga schedule.
Yoga has evolved into various styles:
At Ignis Yoga, I specialize in Hatha Yoga, which combines the best of traditional techniques to support your physical and mental well-being.
On request, classes can be combined for a more extended, tailored session (e.g., meditation after yoga).
The gym used to be my life until I discovered the joy of yoga. Agnieszka has been incredibly supportive, guiding me through every stage of learning this practice. Yoga is now a part of my daily routine, and my only regret is not starting sooner.
